TPRS handles third party recoveries for several Federal Employees Health Benefits Plans, including MHBP, the Special Agents Mutual Benefit Association (SAMBA) Health Benefit Plan, the Foreign Service Benefit Plan (FSBP) and the Rural Carrier Benefit Plan (RCBP). As part of their Federal Employees Health Benefit Plan contracts with the US Office of Personnel Management, these Plans are required to initiate reimbursement efforts for benefits issued as a result of any accident, illness or injury when one of their members receives compensation from a third party as a result of the incident (i.e., auto accident, medical malpractice, product liability, etc.).

For more information and links to our online reimbursement questionnaires and settlement surveys, please click on the link to your FEHB plan.
